Rosa's Story
There's really not much to Rosa's story at all, unfortunately... Her main role in the game is simply "Cecil's girlfriend". Naturally, this means you have to rescue her a lot and so on. All in all, a very bland character at first glance. On the other hand, if handled correctly, she could indeed be an interesting character in a fanfic. She has no background whatsoever, except that she was born in Baron and still lives there with her mother. Her father is not mentioned, nor are siblings... perhaps something happened to the rest of her family, and that's why she clings so tightly to Cecil? There's no proof of this, but when given no evidence of any past at all, one has to draw upon the possibilities for what might have been... The only thing I truly find interesting about Rosa is that although she is in a sense a stereotypical female RPG character (girlfriend of the main character, needs to be rescued a lot, powerful magic-user), there is one non-typical area she excels in - she can use a bow and arrow like nobody's business! This makes her a useful addition to the party even if she is rather lacking in personality, and in fact could be proof of some hidden story on her part. Why would a White Wizard learn archery? Is it a hobby - does she perhaps hunt for sport, just for the thrill? Was she once a warrior who gave up an archer's life to learn curative magic? If you use your imagination to expand on the tiny bits you do know, she may actually acquire a personality after all. ;)
